Bill joined Shula’s in 2018 as CEO and brings with him more than 30 years of operational, financial, strategic, and leadership experience in the restaurant and hospitality industries. Prior to accepting his position with Shula’s, he was CEO of Mina Group, which is owned by Michelin Star and James Beard chef Michael Mina. During his tenure at Mina Group, Bill was instrumental in growing the Company through continued development of Restaurant Management Agreements with hotels, casinos, and strategic financial partners both domestically and internationally. He successfully grew Mina Group’s revenues and increased the number of operating outlets. He also successfully led the launch of a new affordable upscale concept, for which he secured three additional sites for this new concept. Bill also led the process of securing Capital for growth and operation of the Company.

Prior to the Mina Group, Bill was the CEO of Bertucci’s Italian restaurants, a 91-unit concept in 11 states. Prior to that he was CEO of McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants, CEO of Fox Sports Grill, CEO of Robert Redford’s Sundance Entertainment; Sr. V.P. at the Walt Disney Company, and COO/CFO of DAKA International. Bill started his career in the restaurant industry as a Franchisee of Fuddruckers, where he developed the largest Franchise group for the Company before selling to the parent Company. His goal is to continue to expand the Shula’s brand as appropriate by investing both financial and human capital to take each Brand to the next level. Bill and his wife Karie live in Ft. Lauderdale.
